Forget simple neck straps, Ex |CAM™ is available with the FALCON multi-position dual shoulder harness, the minimal weight of the Ex |CAM™ System is distributed evenly across the shoulders for maximum ergonomic comfort under continual use.

• In the STANDBY position Ex |CAM™ can be attached securely to the body allowing full range, two handed movement from location to location between infrared inspections. An important safety feature when ladder, gantry or high level access is required to complete the job.

• In the INSPECTION position Ex |CAM™ is supported at a user definable height in the correct imaging position, needing only targeting support from the arms reducing stress and fatigue to less than that posed by lighter more delicate infrared instruments.

Designed to be tough

• Unlike the delicate safe area infrared instruments previously available, Ex |CAM™ is designed to withstand the rigours of continuous life in corrosive, explosive environments. With a polymer coated aluminium body, armoured display and CLIRVU Ex™ high transmission optic Ex |CAM™ can withstand a 1kg steel ball impact or direct fall onto concrete from two metres or more with no effect on the protection concept!”
• Ex |CAM™ is designed to be tough, its oversized manual focus ring and simple one button FASTStore™ rapid save function allow simple, two handed gloved operation, a requirement in harsh environments.
• High strength casing design and materials enable Ex |CAM™ to be used as a “crawl-aid” during an emergency in heavy smoke or low light situations during restricted access search and rescue operations.
